**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure accurate billing and record-keeping of daily transactions.
- Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of the shift.
- Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area.
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide excellent service.
- Report any discrepancies or suspicious activity to management.
- Work closely with the accounts team for daily sales reports and reconciliation.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum **2-3 years of experience** as a cashier or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in handling POS systems and billing software.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and cash handling procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Trustworthy, punctual, and well-organized.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in retail, hospitality, or supermarket environments.
- Familiarity with digital payment platforms (e.g., UPI, card readers, mobile wallets).
