**Job Title: Medical Transcriptionist**

Seeking a detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist with strong typing skills and a background in pharmacy (**B.Pharm or D.Pharm preferred**) to accurately transcribe medical dictations. Responsibilities include transcribing recordings, ensuring accuracy, maintaining confidentiality, and meeting deadlines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Transcribe medical dictations accurately and efficiently.
- Understand and utilize medical terminology effectively.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Review and edit transcriptions for accuracy and clarity.
- Research medical terminology as needed for clarity.
- Communicate with healthcare professionals to clarify dictations.
- Manage workload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Utilize transcription software proficiently.
- Stay updated on changes in medical terminology and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of transcribed documents.

Qualifications:

- Proficient typing skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Background in pharmacy **(B.Pharm or D.Pharm preferred).**:

- Attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively.

**Experience**:

- Certification in medical transcription preferred.
- Previous experience in medical transcription or healthcare documentation advantageous.
