**Job Title: Product Designer**

**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a _dynamic and passionate_ Product Designer to work on various products we develop for our customers. This may involve working on new products or improving existing ones. Product Designer responsibilities include defining product specifications, creating product drawings using **SOLIDWORKS, Auto CAD **and designing fully-functional products. Ultimately, you will help us build products that are easy to manufacture with optimum utilization of resources while perfectly meeting the criteria of packaging material required by our customers.

**Requirements**:

- BE Mechanical or Diploma
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in Solid works and Auto-CAD
- 3 + years of relevant design experience preferable
- Readiness to travel.

**Salary**

Rs. 18000 - Rs. 22000 per month.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for product from ideation to implementation.
- Understanding from the design team of the customers, exact product specification and performance expectations.
- Meet with customers to establish the design brief, including concept, performance and production criteria.
- Work on ideas as part of a team and develop design concepts using appropriate software, being mindful of the customer's budget.
- Sketch initial design ideas.
- Identify the suitability and availability of materials and prepare initial Bill of Materials.
- Produce detailed, final drawings and specifications using dedicated computer software to produce design specifications, including parts lists and costings.
- Communicate final design to the production team, to make samples or working models, in accordance with the computerized prototype developed.
- Test samples along with the quality department, keeping in mind customer requirements.
- Meet and liaise with the production engineers and other departments, including quality and marketing, to discuss and negotiate appropriate production processes, costs and commercial issues.
- Liaise with the design team of the customer to get product approval.
- Deal with challenges that arise during testing and approval at customer end.
- If required, re-designing of products to accommodate changes specified by customer.
- Travel to customers' production facilities to evaluate the feasibility of production.
- Make presentations to senior management or customers, to present design proposals.
- Constantly updating and improving product design.
- New design generation.
- Host design review sessions, to solicit feedback from customers regarding product performance and continuously improve the design system.
- Carry out administrative duties, as required.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
