Job Role: Research Scientist - Analytical (Reverse Engg)

Location: Mumbai-Thane

**Purpose of the Position**:
Responsible to perform various analytical activities and develop solution for reverse engineering and patent litigation

**Reverse Engineering JD**
- Able to fractionate different fractions of market formulation sample/surfactants
- Able to separate the different components (surfactant/ defoamer/inert/salts in fractionated portions
- Able to identify the separated component using modern analytical techniques such as HPL/GC/ HPLC-CAD/FTIR/LC-MS/GC-MS/NMR etc
- Able to compile and conclude the findings with 95-100% mass balance

**Experience Required**
- Very good experience of separation techniques such as fractionation/SPE/Liquid-liquid extractions
- Hands on experience and analytical capability of using modern analytical techniques such as HPL/GC/ HPLC-CAD/FTIR/LC-MS/GC-MS/NMR etc
- Good experience of reverse engineering of market samples particularly the pesticides/surfactant/paint

**Educational qualification**

MSC. With 7-10 years of above specified experience

PhD. With 5 years of above specified experience

**Preferred applicants from organisation like Solvay (Sunshiled Chemicals)/ India Glycols/Chembond/Rhodia/Rossari/Galaxy Surfactants/ or from Pesticide Industries only.**
