**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:
Data Entry:Enter data accurately and efficiently into the supermarket's inventory management system, particularly GoFrugal software.
Update product information, pricing, and quantities as needed.
Ensure the integrity and completeness of data records.
Goods Received Notes (GRN):Receive and verify incoming shipments from suppliers, creating GRNs within GoFrugal software.
Match received items to purchase orders and ensure accuracy.
Record and document any discrepancies and report them to the relevant departments.
Collaborate with the inventory team to update inventory records based on GRNs in GoFrugal software.
Inventory Management:Collaborate with the inventory team to maintain accurate stock levels.
Assist in monitoring and tracking inventory turnover using GoFrugal software.
Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory data to the supervisor.
Documentation:Maintain organized records of inventory-related transactions, including GRNs in GoFrugal software.
Generate reports on inventory levels, sales, and other relevant data as required, utilizing GoFrugal software.
Help maintain records of supplier information and invoices, possibly integrated with GoFrugal software.
Quality Control:Conduct regular data audits to identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies within GoFrugal software.
Ensure that product descriptions and categories are accurate and up to date.
Assist in implementing quality control procedures for incoming stock using GoFrugal software.
Communication:Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient data flow and information sharing.
Communicate with suppliers and other team members regarding inventory-related matters.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in data entry in a supermarket or similar retail environment, including experience with GRNs.
- Familiarity with inventory management software, especially GoFrugal software, is a significant plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Basic knowledge of supermarket operations and inventory control concepts.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using computer software, including GoFrugal or similar inventory management software.
