Security Supervisor

**Responsibilities**:

- **Supervision and Leadership**: Provide leadership and direction to security personnel, including training, mentoring, and performance management.
- **Security Operations Management**: Oversee day-to-day security operations, including access control, surveillance, and patrols, to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- **Risk Assessment and Mitigation**: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities. Develop and implement measures to mitigate risks and enhance security posture.
- **Emergency Response Planning**: Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and effective response to emergencies and incidents.
- **Security Technology Utilization**: Utilize security technology such as CCTV systems, access control systems, and alarm systems to enhance security effectiveness. Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of security equipment.
- **Policy Enforcement**: Enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. Investigate security breaches and incidents, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- **Security Liaison**: Serve as the primary point of contact for security-related matters with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and law enforcement authorities.
- **Reporting and Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of security incidents, activities, and personnel. Prepare reports and documentation as required by management or regulatory bodies.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Continuously evaluate security operations and procedures to identify areas for improvement. Implement enhancements to optimize security effectiveness and efficiency.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field preferred.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies.
- Certification in security management (e.g., Certified Security Supervisor) is a plus.
- Ability to pass background checks and obtain necessary security clearances.
