Job Title - Architect (Building Design and Construction)

Experience Required - 7-8 years

**Skills Required -**:

- 7+ years of experience working in residential and commercial architectural design.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch/M.Arch).
- Good knowledge in building plan sanctioning process in rural and urban areas.
- Extensive experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in liasoning with various consultants like architects, structural consultants etc.

**Roles and Responsibilities -**:
Designing: Should be responsible for designing buildings and structures. This involves creating detailed plans and drawings that take into account functionality, safety, and aesthetics. To work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences.

Project Management: Manage projects from conception to completion. This includes coordinating with other professionals such as engineers, construction managers, and contractors. Should ensure that projects stay on schedule and within budget.

Technical Expertise: Should have a strong understanding of construction materials, building codes, and structural principles. They use this knowledge to create designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound.

Client Interaction: To work closely with clients to understand their requirements and preferences. Should present design proposals, make adjustments based on client feedback, and ensure that the final product meets the client's expectations.

Environmental Considerations: Incorporate sustainable and environmentally friendly practices into their designs. This may involve using energy-efficient materials, designing for natural ventilation, and considering the overall environmental impact of a building.

Regulatory Compliance: Must ensure that their designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements. This involves staying up-to-date with changes in regulations and obtaining necessary permits for construction.

Visualization Skills: Using computer-aided design (CAD) software, create detailed drawings and 3D models to help clients visualize the final structure. Effective communication of design concepts is crucial.

Problem Solving: To encounter challenges during the design and construction process. They need to think creatively and find practical solutions to overcome obstacles that may arise during a project.

Construction Administration: To be involved in the construction phase of a project, ensuring that the design is implemented correctly. This includes site visits, addressing construction issues, and coordinating with contractors.

**Salary**: From ₹40,000.00 per month
