Key responsibilities of an inventory auditor:

- **Physical inventory counts**:Performing periodic physical counts of stock items in warehouses or retail locations, using handheld scanners or other counting methods to record quantities.
- **Inventory record review**:Examining inventory records, purchase orders, and other relevant documents to verify accuracy against physical counts.
- **Discrepancy analysis**:Identifying and investigating any discrepancies found between physical inventory and recorded inventory levels.
- **Reporting**:Documenting and reporting findings on inventory discrepancies, including potential causes and recommendations for improvement.
- **Internal control evaluation**:Assessing the effectiveness of a company's inventory control procedures and identifying areas for improvement.
- **Data analysis**:Analyzing inventory trends and patterns to identify potential issues like stock shortages or overstocking.
- **Compliance checks**:Ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements regarding inventory management.

Required skills for an inventory auditor:

- **Attention to detail**: High level of accuracy and ability to identify discrepancies in inventory data.
- **Analytical skills**: Ability to analyze data and interpret inventory trends.
- **Math skills**: Proficiency in basic mathematics for inventory calculations.
- **Communication skills**: Clear and concise communication of findings to relevant stakeholders.
- **Organizational skills**: Ability to manage multiple inventory counts and deadlines effectively.
- **Physical ability**: Ability to walk and stand for extended periods while physically counting inventory.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
