Writers Needed to Write Astrology articles (1 Position)

**Proficiencies** ( **MUST HAVES** - Applicants who don’t fulfil the following NEED NOT APPLY):
1. Must have a good knowledge of Vedic scriptures, Vedic Astrology, or Tropical Astrology; Knowledge of
Palmistry, Tarot, or Vaastu could be an added advantage

2. English (US/UK English) and/or Hindi Writing/Typing & Communication Skills
4. Typing skills (in either English or Hindi) on a personal computer/WordPress

**Responsibilities (POST SELECTION -** the writer will have the following day-to-day responsibilities):
1. Perform research on allotted topics and write articles, worded between 1000-1500 each

2. Writing **original** articles either using a Word Processor or via WordPress (access link will be provided with editing privileges **only** on a need/proficiency basis)

4. The writer can take a maximum of 7 days to complete an article **including** performing the required research on the content. However, there’s no minimum time limit

5. Any article will be deemed as “accepted” and “completed” upon successful review by the editor(s). In case any content changes are needed for an article, the writer shall be informed, and will be expected to revert with the updates/edits within 3 days

6. A maximum of 15 and a minimum of 3 articles are expected to be completed by the writer every month; the variable stipend shall depend on the number of articles completed every month. No variable stipend shall be paid if the writer doesn’t complete even a single article in a month

7. The writer **must not** indulge in any copying, plagiarism, transmitting protected content or in any malpractices regarding the written content - whether intended or otherwise. If found, it shall result in cancellation of the employment and non-payment of stipend/dues

8. All these responsibilities are non-transferrable and non-negotiable

**Selection Criteria** ( **TO BE MANDATORILY FULFILLED** prior to the final selection):
1. The applicant must pass the basic eligibility test (to validate the aforesaid proficiencies) by completing the given assignments within stipulated time

2. The applicant should be able to authenticate their submissions during the subsequent interview(s)

3. The applicant must be an Indian national having a valid proof of identity & residence, which should be furnished at the time of joining

**Perks (INDICATIVE**, not exhaustive):
1. Fixed + Variable Stipend (based on the # of articles completed) - up to **Rs. 7000/- P.M. **The detailed breakup of variable stipend payable per article shall be communicated at the time of joining after final selection

3. 100% remote - no need to be present in person, only attend virtual meetings when scheduled

4. Discretionary Bonus (in case the performance exceeds expectations) at the editor’s discretion

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: ₹5,000.00 - ₹7,000.00 per month
