Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Finance in the higher education industry. As the Head of Finance, you will play a vital role in managing the financial activities of our institution, ensuring financial stability and facilitating strategic decision-making.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide financial advice and guidance to senior management and department heads on budget allocation, cost control, and resource optimization.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure accurate financial projections for faculty and staff salaries.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as banks, auditors, and government agencies, to ensure timely reporting and compliance with financial obligations.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and training to support their professional growth.
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance and prepare regular reports for the leadership team, highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvement.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of [number] years of experience in financial management, preferably in the higher education industry.
- In-depth knowledge of finance principles, concepts, and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems and Excel.
- Sound understanding of regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards in the higher education industry.

**Salary**: ₹511,697.26 - ₹1,040,926.12 per year
