Computer Operator

Job Description (Chennai)

**Responsibilities**:

- **Monitor and maintain computer systems**: Oversee system performance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure all systems run efficiently.
- **Perform routine maintenance**: Conduct daily tasks such as data backups, system checks, and software updates.
- **Provide first-level technical support**: Assist users with basic technical inquiries and resolve common issues like login problems or software errors.
- **Manage data and documentation**: Input, update, and manage data with high accuracy. Maintain detailed logs of all system activities, incidents, and resolutions.
- **Operate and manage peripherals**: Handle and maintain computer peripheral equipment like printers, scanners, and other office machines.
- **Collaborate with IT teams**: Work with senior operators and IT support to address complex technical challenges and implement system upgrades.

Qualifications & Skills
- 1-2 years of experience in computer operations, data entry, or IT support.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Strong **problem-solving** and **troubleshooting** skills.
- Excellent **attention to detail** and organizational skills.
- Good **communication skills**, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with ticketing systems and data management tools is a plus.
