The Placement Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the job placement process for students and graduates.
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and national employers.
- Identify and approach new employers to create job and internship opportunities for students.
- Assist students in developing job search skills, including resume writing, interview preparation, and networking strategies.
- Help students understand job market trends and employer expectations.
- Organize and manage job fairs, recruitment events, and on-campus interviews.
- Maintain accurate records of student placements and employer interactions.
- Use data to improve placement strategies and provide feedback to academic departments.
- Work closely with faculty, academic advisors, and other departments to align placement activities with educational programs.
- **Qualifications**:_
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in career services, recruitment, or human resources.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Excellent organizational and event planning skills.
