Junior Plumbing Technician

**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping.
- Perform routine plumbing tasks such as unclogging drains, fixing leaks, and replacing fixtures.
- Assist in preventive maintenance and inspections of plumbing systems.
- Support basic electrical tasks such as wiring checks, switch replacements, and assisting electricians when required.
- Read and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and safety guidelines.
- Prepare and organize tools, equipment, and materials for plumbing and minor electrical jobs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, plumbing codes, and electrical standards.

**Qualifications**
- ITI, Diploma or equivalent in Plumbing / Electrical / Mechanical trades.
- 1-2 years of plumbing experience (apprenticeship or technician role).
- **Basic knowledge of electrical systems** (wiring, switches, circuits).
- Familiarity with plumbing tools, materials, and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in various environments (indoor/outdoor, confined spaces).

**Language Requirements**:

- Must be able to communicate in **Malayalam**.
- **Tamil** language skills preferred.
- Basic **English communication** required.
