5 + years of experience with Oracle EBS Administration with experience in implementation, maintaining Oracle databases across multiple platforms
- Excellent knowledge of core Oracle databases required (up through 12c)
- In-Depth understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery requirements and solutions
- In-Depth understanding of Oracle RAC (12c and 19c), Oracle Data Guard & Data Guard Broker
- Proficient knowledge of Oracle EBS database administration through 12.2.4 required, including concurrent processing, system administration, start up and shut down, RAC, OEM in the EBS space, support of printing including XML, managing of schema statistics, identification of poorly performing queries, performance tuning, RAC refreshes.
- Basic knowledge of Oracle EBS system administration to supervise concurrent requests and collect information on job logs
- Comfort with Linux and windows - able to login to various environments, start/stop/supervise services in these environments - determine status or issues in these environments
- Basic UNIX shell scripting
- Excellent communication skills - must be able to work with North American DBAs and Oracle EBS sysadmins, effectively communicate issues and results, and report on issues with transparency.
- Off-schedule hours - must have ability to work from home if requested. Will take up to one week per month as on-call DBA. Will assist with some End of Month (weekend) activities and will supervise and process refreshes.
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud (OCI) a strong plus.
