**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Installation and Configuration**:

- Install and configure Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 and Oracle Database.
- **Database Administration**:

- Manage Oracle databases, including backup and recovery, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Implement and maintain database security (user accounts, roles, privileges).
- **Performance Tuning and Optimization**:

- Monitor database performance and recommend improvements.
- Perform SQL tuning and optimization.
- **Backup and Recovery**:

- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies.
- Perform regular backups and restore databases as necessary.
- **Cloning and Refreshes**:

- Manage data migration and environment cloning.
- **Patching and Maintenance**:

- Ensure the systems are compliant with security and regulatory requirements.
- **Monitoring and Troubleshooting**:

- Set up and maintain monitoring tools and scripts.
- **Documentation**:

- Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
- **Support and Collaboration**:

- Provide support for development, test, and production environments.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- 3-5 years of experience as an Oracle Apps DBA.
- Proven experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Oracle ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.
- **Certifications**:

- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) is preferred.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware.
- Knowledge of middleware technologies such as WebLogic Server.
- Experience in managing large-scale, high-availability environments.
