We are seeking an experienced Medical Coder to join our healthcare team. The Medical Coder will be responsible for accurately coding medical diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS coding systems. The Medical Coder will work closely with healthcare providers, billing and coding staff, and insurance companies to ensure timely and accurate coding and billing of medical services.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assign codes to medical diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS coding systems
- Review medical records and documentation to ensure accurate coding and billing of medical services
- Work closely with healthcare providers, billing and coding staff, and insurance companies to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement of medical services
- Conduct regular audits of medical records and coding processes to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Provide guidance and training to healthcare providers and staff on coding and documentation requirements
- Keep up-to-date with changes in coding regulations and standards

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare field preferred
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical coding in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS coding systems
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic health record (EHR) systems
