1) Should have worked on any 1 E/M IP or E/M OP or Radiology

2) Strong experience in coding procedures

3) Must be able to read, interpret, and analyze medical record

The client is a 19-year-old Healthcare Revenue Analytics organization, providing niche services to Providers and Payers. Their core specialization stems from the fact that we possess the experience and expertise spanning the entire life cycle of the claim, and the capability to leverage the experience to enhance specific process deliverables.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

- Assigns as appropriate codes and abstracts pertinent information from patient records
- Identify incomplete, or conflicting documentation and be comfortable initiating physician queries
- Perform ongoing analysis of charts for the appropriate coding compliance
- Must be able to read, interpret, and analyze medical record documentation for accurate coding
- Thorough knowledge on official coding guidelines, CMS policies and regulations.
- Strong experience in coding procedures
- Ensure to meet quality and production requirement as per Data Marshall’s standard
- Knowledge of drug and immunization coding is essential
- Should have knowledge of supplies and HCPCS
- Well versed with insurance specific guidelines
- Strong experience in ACEP (American college of Emergency Physicians) guidelines
- Coder is responsible for meeting and maintaining established quality coding goals as identified and updated regularly
- Manage and impart confidential information appropriately per HIPAA regulations and Data Marshall’s compliance standards

Qualification and Experience:

- Graduate or relevant qualification, preferably life sciences background
- Minimum experience of 2 years in medical records coding
- Certified medical coder from AAPC or AHIMA
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology
- Proficient in advanced coding skills using ICD-10, HCPCS, and CPT
- Broad knowledge on medical conditions, procedures and management
- Advanced knowledge of medical coding and billing systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Shift Timing AM 8:30 to 05:30 PM
- No of Working Days: 5 days
