Solutions Architect

Job Family Descriptor Responsible for design of technical solutions related to multiple specializations (product/ technology) for customers with the objective of increasing revenue, profitability and market competitive and ensuring solutions provided meet customer requirements with the objective of ensuring design and delivery of complex solutions as per customer requirements. Work with the sales team to jointly assess customer requirements. The pre-sales team scans the technology requirements of market, participates in product development activities, speaks in customer / marketing forums to increase brand awareness and propagate TCL portfolio and gain mindshare and market share. Also supports the Product team through the product development lifecycle and provide inputs on product features from a business requirements/customer perspective. Identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency, scalability and economy and drive related initiatives. Broad outline of the Role
Leads a team of solution architects. Work is performed with mínimal direction and is reviewed by senior management. Anticipates and identifies complex business needs and recommends solutions to moderately complex problems. Oversee support to sales team by solution architects or be a senior individual contributor. Tactical role which provides a marked contribution to defining the direction of new solutions, processes, standards or operational plans based upon business strategy, with a significant mid term impact on business unit overall results. Identifies problems and significantly improves, changes or adapts existing method and techniques of developing solutions. Focus is on implementation and control rather than policy and strategy development. Impact of decisions made is short to mid-term in nature. May have small to medium profit and loss responsibility. May have involvement in regional projects, but as a team member rather than project leader. Graduate in Engineering Experience : 8-10yrs
Skills Required

12-15 years e xperience on Private LTE/5G network Solution designing.

Profound knowledge of E2E Wireless Network (5G NR, LTE)

Multi-vendor experience would be preferred. (Mavenir, Airspan, Altiostar, Parallel wireless etc..) Rakuten Network Experience will be preferred.

Hands-on experience on RAN technologies, such as Distributed RAN (Traditional), C-RAN, V-RAN, and Open RAN.

Experience on Radio network Planning, design, deployment, and Integration and RAN & Transport Capacity dimensioning

Telco deployment Experience on Vmware
- V sphere & Tanzu will be preferred

Good understanding of 5G-NR concepts (NSA, SA, DC, LTE interworking, split barrier, numerology, Network slicing and digital beamforming, eMBB, URLLC, mMTC, mm-Wave, cm-Wave, network slicing

Good experience on radio network optimization

Experience on Traffic Modelling, Link-Budget, Propagation Model Tuning and Network Pain Point Analysis

Protocol level understanding (RRC, RLC, MAC, PDCP) and good knowledge in end-to-end message flow of LTE and VOLTE. > Basic protocol level understanding

Experience on RFI/RFP preparation, POC execution, vendor assessment, recommendations. Analysing and responding to the RFQ’s, RFP’s, RFI’s or SoW’s and providing a best fit business model / solution for the client.

Tools Knowledge

**Post Processing Tools**: ACTIX, TEMS, and NEMO > understanding of NEMO tool, never used

Optimization platforms > No experience on optimization tools, experience on Network management systems

**Radio Planning tools**: Atoll, Nemo, Mentum Planet, iBwave, ASSET, QGIS

**Log analysis**: Wireshark

**OSS Tools**: NetAct, ENM, M2000, U2000 > No experience on OSS tools

**RF supporting tool**: MapInfo, Google earth
