Physics Instructor

**Mastering Up** is a leading EdTech company on a mission to provide high-quality education in science and engineering. We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Level 1 Physics Instructor to create engaging online courses for our ever-expanding platform.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver compelling online content covering a variety of physics topics, adhering to our curriculum and learning objectives.
- Craft clear and concise explanations of physics fundamentals, mechanics, electromagnetism, optics, and other core areas, ensuring learners with varying backgrounds can grasp the material effectively.
- Participate in the ongoing review and improvement of existing physics course content.
- Respond to learner questions and concerns in a timely and helpful manner, fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity and problem-solving.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and discoveries within the exciting world of physics.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Physical Science, or a closely related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in explaining scientific concepts to a general audience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive online content, including demonstrations of physics concepts and visualizations of scientific phenomena (a plus).
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and methodologies.
- Passion for physics and a desire to share your knowledge with aspiring scientists and curious learners.
- Proficiency in using online learning platforms is preferred.

**Bonus points for**:

- Experience developing online courses or other instructional materials for physics topics.
- Industry experience in research, physics-related fields (e.g., engineering, technology), or science education.
- Knowledge of specific physics sub-disciplines (e.g., thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, astrophysics).
- A captivating and engaging teaching style that fosters a love for scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
