Female Dance Teacher

**Location : Guru Rajendra Jain International School, Mohankheda Jain Tirth, Rajgarh (Dhar).**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Curriculum Development and Instruction**:

- Design and implement a comprehensive dance curriculum that caters to students from Nursery to Grade 12.
- Teach various dance styles including but not limited to ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, and cultural dances.
- Develop age-appropriate lesson plans and instructional materials to ensure a dynamic and inclusive dance education.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

**Student Engagement and Development**:

- Inspire and motivate students to develop their dance skills and express themselves creatively.
- Conduct dance classes that promote physical fitness, coordination, rhythm, and artistic expression.
- Provide individual and group instruction, offering constructive feedback to help students improve their technique and performance.
- Encourage students to participate in school dance events, competitions, and recitals.

**Performance and Event Coordination**:

- Plan, organize, and choreograph dance performances for school events, assemblies, and special occasions.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate dance into cross-curricular projects and school-wide activities.
- Coordinate rehearsals and manage logistics for dance performances, ensuring high-quality productions.

**Student Welfare and Support**:

- Foster a supportive and safe environment for all students, promoting their overall well-being and personal growth.
- Act as a mentor and role model, offering guidance and support to students both in and out of the classroom.
- Monitor and report on student progress, maintaining accurate records and providing regular feedback to parents and guardians.

**Professional Development and School Community Involvement**:

- Stay current with developments in dance education, incorporating new techniques and practices into the curriculum.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Engage with the school community, contributing to the residential life and extracurricular programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school policies and initiatives.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Dance, Performing Arts, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in teaching dance to children and adolescents across various age groups.
- Strong knowledge of different dance styles and techniques.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and engage students with a passion for dance.
- Commitment to the holistic development of students in a residential school setting.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for rehearsals and performances.
