We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role **Assistant Vice President - Finance Change Delivery**

**Principal responsibilities**:

- Perform the development (coding) documentation and implementation of stress testing models with SAS toolset for wholesale & Retail Credit Risk, covering: technical design and documentation, coding of the component, testing of the component
- Supporting testing (FT & UAT) and overall delivery of the solution by working together with the Stress test Delivery Manager and other suppliers (e.g. IT).
- Ensure delivery reduces hand offs yet increasing interaction between various Country teams, Region and Group business teams across Finance and Risk.
- Ensure the use of SAS toolset reduces lead time to delivery and aligns to strategic direction so that cross-functional development is usable
- Design should help embed standard processes, systems and operational models into the Business As Uusual approach for end-to-end execution of stress tests, enabling the organisation to leverage HSBCs global economies of scale
- Ensure that the delivered solution follows robust, industrialized procedures and all controls / governance are followed through the change cycle
- Build trusting partnership with Finance Change Delivery (FCD) Stress Testing project team to effectively deliver the required output for closure
- Effectively understand and manage Sponsor and Stakeholder expectations, implementing change while minimising conflicts and communicating achievements and performance against targets
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge and interest in the new SAS toolset and roadmap
- Recognised numerate University Degree (or equivalent)
- SAS certification (Advanced) will be preferred
- Knowledge of Big data (Hadoop/Hive/Cloudera) and experience working in linux terminal
- Knowledge and experience of agile project management methodologies and working with JIRA, Confluence and Github
- Knowledge of Cloud based technologies and Python coding language is advantageous
- Good knowledge of Credit Risk Stress Testing and Projections is advantageous
- pySpark/Spark advantageous
