**Job Title: Vessel Operations Manager**

**Location**: Pune, Maharashtra

**Job Type**: Full-Time

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage daily vessel operations as per **Charter Party (CP) agreements**.
- Plan and finalize **stowage and cargo intake** to maximize efficiency.
- Serve as the **primary point of contact** for **shipowners, stakeholders, and customers**.
- Arrange and **optimize bunkers** for period vessels to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Monitor **vessel performance** and take necessary actions to **minimize operational costs**.
- Approve the **release of Bills of Lading (BL)** and ensure proper documentation.
- Update and maintain records in **IMOS (Integrated Maritime Operations System)**.
- Coordinate with the **admin team** for the issuance of the **Initial Freight Invoice**.
- Ensure that all **cargo documents** are properly passed to the **AO team** for **laytime calculation and final freight invoice processing**.
- Collaborate with the **finance team** to follow up on **freight payments** and ensure timely collections.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in **Maritime Studies, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field**.
- **3+ years** of experience in **vessel operations, chartering, or shipping logistics**.
- Strong knowledge of **Charter Party agreements and freight documentation**.
- Proficiency in **IMOS or similar maritime operations software**.
- Excellent **communication and stakeholder management skills**.
- Ability to analyze **vessel performance and cost optimization strategies**.
- Experience in **bunker procurement and management** is a plus.

Pay: ₹1,081,253.19 - ₹1,581,253.19 per year
