**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled** Risk & Compliance Professional**to join **Risk MGMT & Compliance** -**Global Finance Services Division**

Caterpillar is looking to add a skilled Risk & Compliance Professional to our Digital, Technology & Distribution compliance team supporting the Asia Pacific Distribution (APD) Division. This is an exciting role that will support the APD Distribution Service Division (DSD) by leading an effective compliance program to help drive a compliance culture, reinforce our Values in Action and ensure the enterprise is Winning the Right Way. The preference for this role is to be based out of **Chennai - Brigade World Trade Center**

**What you will do**
- Provide leadership with the identification of relevant compliance issues in the organization in terms of both applicable policies and procedures and instances where adherence to those policies and procedures may be compromised.
- Develop, implement, and proactively monitor compliance and ethics initiatives of the Division.
- Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develop corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues and provide general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future. Develop, initiate and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of the Division's compliance program, and lead key DT&D segment compliance activities in the Region.
- **What you will have**
- **Education/Experience**:Minimum of 4-year degree and relevant experience required
- ** Relationship Management**:Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with senior leadership, clients, vendors, and peers; Conducts reviews of work effort, progress, issues, and successes; Maintains productive, long-term relationships; Empowers others to establish collaborative, healthy relationships.
- ** Effective Communication**: Understanding effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret information across all levels or the organization; Deliver helpful feedback that focuses on behaviors without offending the recipient; Make oral presentations to division leadership and look for and consider non-verbal cues from individuals and groups.
- ** Analytical Thinking**: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; Ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems; Approach a situation or problem by defining the problem or issue and determining its significance; Identify the major forces, events and people impacting and impacted by the situation at hand; Use logic and intuition to make inferences about the meaning of the data and arrive at conclusions.
- ** Audit and Compliance Function**: Knowledge of major responsibilities and tasks of Audit and Compliance (A&C) function; Ability to manage the operation of A&C function in various business environments; Facilitates compliance-related business process implementation or improvement initiatives; Fosters key relationships and dependencies among Audit, IT and other business functions.
