We are hiring CA qualified professionals for our client Aditya Birla Fashion Retail.

Position - Lead Retail Commercial, Assistant Manager

Location - Yemalur, Bangalore

Qualification -CA Qualified in 1st or 2nd attempt

CTC- Max 19 LPA

1. Job Purpose

To handle Retail commercial Activities of New Business which includes
- Ensuring smooth store opening/store operations, Educating the teams on processes, active participation indrafting/analyzing of Lease agreement/LOI/Franchisee agreements, Driving cost management of retail opex by closely working with the business team Notices, Reconciliations, Relationship with Malls and Franchisee and resolving issues, handling store closures/settlements, recoveries, provisioning and analysis of accounts, handling, quarterly and annual statutory audits

2. Job Context & Major Challenges

Job profile includes commercial activities from Pre-Opening of store to payment for services which requires continuous communications and dealing with different functions/departments i.e. Operation team, Legal team, RBD team, IT team, Accounting team and external stakeholders i.e. LL’s and Franchisee’s.

3. Principal Accountabilities

Smooth New store openings

1. Assisting and giving inputs to Brand/Legal/RBD team in drafting and approval of LOI and lease agreement

2. Drafting and executing of Franchisee agreements, ensuring to incorporate the terms as per approved IRR

3. Active participation in NSO calls, identifying the key obstacles which may affect store openings, store operations, take preventive actions to remove these deterrents

Managing Store operations

1. Continuous monitoring/Review of store expenses

2. Aligning the operation teams with the SOP’s.

3. Identifying loopholes in system and take corrective action.

4. Surprise visit to stores to check on system/operational controls, discussion on practical challenges and co-ordinate with respective teams for quick resolution.

5. Monitor store stock levels.

6. Ensuring Lease and franchisee agreements are valid and active.

7. Ensure cash card reconciliation is done for previous quarter and sign off is obtained.

8. Ensure Landlord and franchisee NDC is obtained and books are reconciled.

Driving cost management

1. Driving cost management of retail opex.

2. Ensuring timely Recoveries of Security deposit from Landlords.

Store closures

1. Reconciliation signoff with Land lords and Franchisee

2. End to end closure of accounts in SAP by giving details of closure and guiding operation/RBD teams on launching of closure e-forms

3. Settlements of petty advances on closure.
