Location Anna Nagar
Compensation - upto 75k per month
Work experience - 6 plus years of experience
Scope of the Role:
- Advising the School in providing financial management
- Assist Board of Trustees in financial aspects of business.
- Assists the Board of Trustees on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis and forecasting needs.
Key Competency Requirements:
- CA/ MBA Finance
- Knowledge of Laws, regulations, and rules governing work - requirements for CBSE Schools will be an added advantage.
- Ability to foster and cultivate business opportunities and partnerships. Create and assess financial statements and budget documents
- Recognize and be responsive to the needs of all clients of the school. Specific Responsibilities - Supervise regular progress reviews and plans for improvement.
- High level of tact and confidentiality. - Strong presentation, persuasion, oral and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills
- Preparation and monitoring of financial systems, controls and processes, a s well a s appropriate advice in this context to principals and financial managers of each school / institution.
- Preparation o School Management Agreement to include financial obligations of Trust and joint venture partners.
- Ensure release of appropriate funds during the CAPEX phase of a new project. This will include budgetary expenses of the school and CAPEX separately.
- Standardise budget and ensure timely preparation and accuracy of annual school budget. - Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard all assets of the Trust and other JV Partners.
- Oversee the coordination and activities of auditors ensuring all audit issues are resolved, and all compliance issues are met, and the preparation of the annual financial statements is in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Attend Board and Subcommittee meetings, including being the lead staff on the Audit/Finance Committee.
- Monitor banking activities of the Trust.
- Ensure adequate cash flow to meet needs which the organization may offer employees and potential employees with the goal of attracting and retaining qualified individuals.
- Oversee the production of monthly reports, as well as financial statements and cash flow projections for use by HOS, Board of Trustees and Management, as well as the Audit/Finance Committee.
- Assist in the design, implementation, and timely calculations of wage incentives, commissions, and salaries for the staff
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and ensure Reserve Fund plan is in place.
- Oversee insurance plans and health care coverage analysis. monthly financial statements to review with HOO and HOS.
- Manage banking relations.
