**Major responsibility**: - Understanding the need and estimating SAS space requirement for yearly CCAR cycle based on discussion with MRM Validation Teams (considering Retail & PPNR Loss Forecasting area) Collaboration with Unix infrastructure team on the planning of space allocation & schedule for the same Setting up processes in collaboration with Validation Teams, Sponsors & Unix Infrastructure Team to effectively manage space on the server - Arrive at effective ways to manage datasets by avoiding multiple occurrences of the same datasets - Use Functional ID (Super role) effectively to take a control and manage files on the server - Create and implement Archive / back up / deletion policies - Creation of effective file systems on the server to take care of needs of validation Teams Managing, monitoring, reporting space utilized on the server & sharing the reports with users on a regular basis Setting up folders structures, group and user entitlements (read, write access) to make sure legitimate users are allowed to access the space - Restrict users to read only based on business requirements (QC, Reporting Teams do not need execute access) - Educate users on setting up ownership and assignments to protect the data from deletion - Identify any potential risk of non-allocation of space and accordingly working on mitigation actions Support to validation teams on regular system updates, migrations updates, troubleshooting the errors, responding to users queries & also educating them **Qualification**: - MS/ BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field - 3+ years of experience **Skill Set****: - Should have worked as Unix / Linus server administrator, Experience with Citi SAS, technology/infrastruction experience is highly preferred - Knowledge of UNIX and LINUX operating systems, storage environments, file systems, and network protocols - Detailed knowledge of UNIX principles, file editing, UNIX commands, and file manipulation - Familiarity with Windows, UNIX, LINUX, and LINUX shell scripting - Understanding of backup procedures and storage management - Knowledge of networking principles & computer hardware systems - Excellent troubleshooting, project management, communication skills - Model risk management or model development experience is a plus - Prior experience working in similar role for a financial institution is preferred - A self-starter with strong planning, organizational skills, and willingness to learn - **Job Family Group**: Risk Management - **Job Family**: Risk Analytics, Modeling, and Validation - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
