**Job Summary**:
The Chinese Commis 1 is responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality Chinese cuisine. This role requires basic culinary skills, familiarity with Chinese ingredients and cooking methods, and a commitment to hygiene and kitchen standards. The Commis 1 works under the supervision of the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef to ensure all dishes are prepared according to standard recipes and quality requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare ingredients for Chinese dishes such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces.
- Assist in cooking various Chinese dishes (wok, dim sum, noodles, stir-fry, soups, etc.) as per the guidance of senior chefs.
- Ensure all food preparation areas and equipment are clean and hygienic at all times.
- Follow standard recipes and portion controls to maintain food consistency and cost control.
- Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO method).
- Help in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring all items are checked for quality and quantity.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
- Maintain personal hygiene and wear proper uniform at all times.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Communicate any kitchen issues or equipment faults to the supervisor immediately.
- Take responsibility for learning new skills and improving existing ones.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a Chinese kitchen or similar culinary environment.
- Knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Basic understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Physically fit to stand for long periods and carry out kitchen tasks.
- Culinary diploma or relevant training (preferred but not mandatory).

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
