We are currently seeking a IT Asset and Configuration to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

IT Asset & Configuration Analyst

Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of the IT Asset & Configuration Analyst is to effectively manage the IT assets to ensure World Class Service is provided.

Lines of Reporting

The IT Asset & Configuration Analyst reports directly into the IT Asset & Configuration Manager.

MAIN DUTIES

IT Asset & Configuration Analyst you will be responsible for the effective delivery of IT asset and configuration management, using an ITIL framework. Your responsibilities will include providing IT hardware and software asset management (ITAM) service for our customers, updating assets with in our IT Service Management solution, conducting asset reconciliations and audits, managing IT disposals and providing asset reports to our Service Delivery Managers and customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Update and maintain the asset management records, Configuration Item (CI) data and their relationships within the IT Service Management (ITSM) system to enable accurate information for IT Service Management processes and decision making.
- Review, verify and normalise received data ready to be loaded into the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) sitting under the ITSM. This may include obtaining additional asset attribute information to ensure that all required asset attributes are complete.
- Participate in regular audits (and reconciliation) of configuration item in the CMDB and develop reports to assist the Asset Manager in implementing processes to remediate non-compliance and ensure the database reflects the production environment.
- Work with the Asset Manager, customers and internal teams to promote the value of Asset & Configuration management policies, processes and procedures within the organisation to ensure compliance and reduce risk.

- Conscientious individual with exceptional attention to detail;
- Confident and articulate;
- Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally and work to demanding deadlines and targets
- Ability to problem solve
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of Service Now
