**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Sales & Business Development**:
- Identify and target potential customers in both residential and commercial markets.
- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
- Meet or exceed sales goals and performance targets set by management.
- **Customer Engagement**:
- Provide professional consultations and HVAC system recommendations based on customer needs.
- Explain HVAC product features, benefits, pricing, and services in a clear and compelling manner.
- Create and deliver tailored quotes and proposals for HVAC system installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- **Product Knowledge**:
- Stay up to date with the latest HVAC products, trends, and technologies.
- Understand and communicate technical specifications, energy efficiency options, and warranty programs to customers.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to address customer concerns and ensure accurate specifications.
- **Relationship Management**:
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow-up after sales to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Address customer inquiries, issues, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- **Sales Administration**:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, customer interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system.
- Prepare and submit sales reports to management on a regular basis.
- Work closely with the installation and service teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery of HVAC systems.
- **Market Awareness**:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
- Provide feedback on customer needs and preferences to improve product offerings and services.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree in sales, business, or a related field is a plus).
- Previous experience in HVAC sales or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to achieve sales targets.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Previous experience in sales, especially within the construction, home improvement, or building services industries.
- Knowledge of local regulations and safety standards related to HVAC installations and services.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to visit job sites, attend meetings, and participate in sales presentations.
- Ability to lift and carry small equipment and tools when necessary.
**Work Environment**:
- This position requires both office and fieldwork, including visits to client locations, job sites, and vendor locations.
- A typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends for appointments or trade shows.
**Compensation**:
- Competitive base salary plus commission or bonus based on sales performance.
