**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Assessment**:

- Create and administer assessments, including essays, tests, presentations, and projects, to evaluate student progress and understanding.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback and grades to students, helping them improve their writing and analytical skills.
- **Student Support**:

- Offer additional support to students who may need extra assistance, including one-on-one tutoring and feedback on assignments.
- Encourage and motivate students to develop a love for literature and enhance their writing and communication skills.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Maintain effective classroom management and discipline to create a positive and productive learning environment.
- Address any behavioral issues or conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
- **Professional Development**:

- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in English education and teaching methodologies.
- Attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions as required.
- **Literary Engagement**:

- Foster a love for literature through various classroom and extracurricular activities such as book clubs, literary competitions, and drama productions.
- Promote effective communication skills and critical thinking through interactive and creative teaching methods.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work collaboratively with other faculty members to support interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in English, Literature, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Proven experience teaching English at the secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of English language, literature, and composition.
