Key responsibilities of a Front Office GSA:
- **Guest Welcome and Check-in**:Greet guests upon arrival, verify reservations, collect payment information, and assign rooms.
- **Check-out Procedures**:Process guest departures, settle bills, collect room keys, and handle any final requests.
- **Reservation Management**:Answer phone calls, take reservations, modify existing bookings, and confirm details.
- **Guest Information**:Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, dining options, and directions.
- **Cash Handling**:Accurately manage cash drawer, process credit card transactions, and balance accounts.
- **Guest Concerns**:Address guest complaints, resolve issues promptly, and escalate concerns to management when necessary.
- **Communication**:Maintain clear and professional communication with guests, colleagues, and other departments.
- **Administrative Tasks**:Maintain accurate records, update guest information in the system, and follow established procedures.
**Required Skills**:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency and knowledge of property management systems
