Jr. Buyer

**Job description**:
Crossword Bookstores Pvt. Ltd., is hiring for a Junior Buyer
- Books vertical. This role is ideal for an experienced retail professional with proven experience in Books Industry and handles Merchandising of Books for stores pan India. Must enjoy reading books.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Working with the B&M Head and Publisher to ensure right mix of product in all stores
- Strategically growing sales and providing sales forecasts.
- Work with other Buyers to ensure new releases reach on time to stores
- Working closely with MS Office to ensure replenishment of product and making reports on requirements.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure stocks reach on time
- Working closely with the marketing team for events
- Develop new accounts in line with growth strategy.
- Subcategorization of products in B&M internal product data
- Organizing and attending meetings in the market, trade and consumer exhibitions.
- Providing sales and market reports to publishers
- Carrying out other sales, admin, marketing and operational duties as and when required

**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- At least 2-3 years’ experience working in Book Industry
- Proven experience as a purchase executive/junior buyer in Book trade
- Energy and passion to drive the business forward
- Excellent IT skills and experience quickly learning new software
- Experience using CRMs and project management software
- Strong executive level verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

**Salary**: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
