**Job Summary**

**Job Title**: Online Spelling Bee Coach for Students in the USA

Subbu Innovative Classes Pvt Ltd is expanding its online coaching services and is seeking passionate and experienced English teachers or spelling bee coaches to train students in the USA preparing for Scripps and other spelling bee competitions. We will provide all the necessary materials for training, and the coaching sessions will take place during mornings in India and evenings in the USA on weekdays, and weekends during morning and night times in India.

The position requires an individual with strong knowledge of spelling rules, linguistic patterns, and language skills. Coaches will work with highly motivated students whose parents have high expectations for their children's success. The coaching time commitment is expected to be around 10 hours or less per week.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct engaging and effective online spelling bee training sessions.
- Teach students spelling rules, language patterns, and etymological roots to improve their vocabulary and spelling.
- Develop customized lesson plans for individual student needs.
- Provide guidance on effective study techniques and competition strategies.
- Assess student progress and give constructive feedback for improvement.
- Stay updated with current spelling bee formats, rules, and word lists.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment for students.

**Experience**
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
- Prior experience in coaching students for spelling bees is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of language rules, word origins, and linguistic patterns.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms and technology (e.g., Zoom).
- Passion for helping students achieve their spelling goals.

**Working conditions**:

- Comfortable with online teaching platforms (Zoom, etc.) and equipped with a laptop/computer.
- Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
