**Job Title**: Gear Grinder Operator

**Salary**: ₹15,000 - ₹40,000 per month _(depending on experience and knowledge)_
**Experience Required**: 1-3 years

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate gear grinding machines (such as Reishauer, Hofler, or similar).
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and gear specifications.
- Perform precision grinding operations to finish gears to tight tolerances.
- Inspect completed gears using measuring tools like micrometers, gear testers, and comparators.
- Monitor machine performance and adjust settings for optimal output.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of grinding machines.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality control procedures.
- Collaborate with toolroom and quality teams to ensure product accuracy and performance.

**Requirements**:

- 1-3 years of experience operating gear grinding machines in a toolroom or precision manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of gear types (spur, helical, bevel, etc.) and grinding processes.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
- Familiarity with machine calibration and basic troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of safety standards in a manufacturing/toolroom setting.
- Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a strong commitment to quality.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with CNC gear grinding machines is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of gear metrology.
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade certification.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
