**Cars Bodyshop Technician job Description**:

- **Assessing Damage**:

- Inspect and assess the extent of vehicle damage to determine the necessary repairs.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify structural damage and other issues.
- **Repairing Vehicle Bodies**:

- Perform structural and non-structural repairs on vehicles, including dent removal, panel replacement, welding, and body filling.
- Repair or replace damaged body parts, such as bumpers, doors, fenders, and hoods, to restore the vehicle to its original condition.
- **Body Panel Replacement**:

- Remove damaged panels and components and install new or repaired parts with precision.
- Ensure all replaced parts are properly aligned and securely fitted.
- **Painting and Finishing**:

- Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, priming, and masking.
- Polish and buff surfaces to achieve a smooth, glossy finish.
- **Welding and Structural Repairs**:

- Use MIG/TIG welding techniques for repairing or replacing structural components.
- Ensure welding work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- **Vehicle Alignment and Calibration**:

- Realign chassis and frame components using frame alignment tools.
- Adjust and calibrate vehicle systems affected by body repairs, such as sensors and electronics.
- **Quality Control**:

- Perform thorough quality checks on completed repairs to ensure compliance with Renault’s safety and quality standards.
- Test vehicle components and systems to verify that they are functioning correctly after repair.
- **Maintaining Equipment**:

- Keep bodyshop equipment, such as welders, spray guns, and lifts, in good working condition.
- Report any equipment issues to the supervisor and follow safety protocols when using tools.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Document all repairs and services performed on vehicles accurately in the system.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors, parts departments, and customers about repair progress and estimated completion times.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Follow safety procedures and Renault guidelines when performing repairs.
- Ensure that all work complies with local and company safety regulations.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Stay updated with the latest techniques and tools used in automotive body repair.
- Participate in training programs offered by Renault to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualification:

- Certificate /Diploma / Degree in automobile sector
