Job Title: Staff Accountant/ Accounts Executive
Location: Mohali, Sector 118
Shift Timing: 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM (Night Shift)
Department: Finance
Reports To: Assistant Controller / Finance Manager

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment processing.
- Conduct credit card reconciliations and maintain proper documentation.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Prepare journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and accuracy.
- Handle depreciation schedules and prepaid expenses accounting.
- Assist in the preparation of trial balances and support financial reporting activities.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial audits and regulatory requirements.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Min 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a US-based accounting environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with bank reconciliations, journal entries, depreciation, and prepaid accounting.
- Ability to handle month-end close processes and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good time management skills to meet deadlines under tight schedules.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in a night shift environment or flexible to work in the specified shift.
- Familiarity with financial audits and internal controls.

Work Environment:

- Office-based in Mohali, Sector 118.
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM (IST).
- Full-time role with growth opportunities in the finance department.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
