Job Description : Finance Manager (Group Companies)Location - Mohali, Punjab, IndiaShift : US Shift (Night Shift)Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Finance Manager with a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification (mandatory). Additional certification such as CPA or CFA will be considered a strong advantage. - The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, compliance, and reporting for our group companies, with a strong focus on US accounting standards. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in managing US accounts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively during US shift timings.Key Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and compliance functions for group companies.- Ensure timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements.- Handle consolidation of accounts across multiple group entities.- Monitor cash flow, budgets, forecasts, and financial planning for the group.- Review and manage tax compliance for both Indian and US jurisdictions.- Develop internal financial controls, policies, and procedures to streamline operations.- Supervise a team of accountants, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure adherence to all compliance standards.- Prepare management reports, variance analyses, and recommendations for cost control and profitability improvement.- Support strategic business decisions by providing financial insights to senior leadership.- Ensure accurate accounts receivable/payable management and reconcile US client/vendor accounts.- Handle intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, and cross-border financial Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.- CPA or CFA certifications will be an added advantage.- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Experience:- 5-8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.- Proven experience in handling US accounts and financial reporting in US GAAP.- Exposure to group companies or multinational business structures preferred.- Strong knowledge of tax regulations (both US and Indian is a plus).Skills Required:- Strong command of US GAAP and IFRS accounting principles.- Advanced knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and in high-pressure environments.- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when collaborating with US-based stakeholders.- Flexibility to work in US shift hours.
