This role offers the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, innovative environment while handling a variety of legal matters that are critical to the company's ongoing success.

Position Summary:
The House Lawyer will provide legal advice and support to house, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, minimizing legal risks, and protecting the company’s interests. This role will cover a wide range of legal areas, including contract negotiations, employment law, intellectual property, real estate, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Legal Counsel: Provide legal advice and support to internal teams on various legal matters, including but not limited to corporate governance, regulatory issues, risk management, and contracts.

Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, including vendor agreements, partnership agreements, employment contracts, and non-disclosure agreements.

Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws. Identify potential legal risks and recommend strategies for mitigating them.

Dispute Resolution: Manage and resolve disputes, including drafting legal correspondence, participating in negotiations, and working with external counsel if needed.

Employment Law: Provide legal advice on employment issues such as employee rights, workplace policies, benefits, and disputes.

Corporate Governance: Support corporate governance and internal compliance processes, including reviewing board minutes, shareholder agreements, and corporate filings.

Intellectual Property: Advise on IP protection strategies, including patent, trademark, copyright, and licensing matters.

General Legal Advice: Assist with any other legal matters that may arise, offering guidance and solutions tailored to the company's needs.

Qualifications:
Education: LLB degree from a recognized law school or university.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of legal experience, with at least 6 years working in-house

Knowledge: Strong knowledge of corporate, employment, contract, and intellectual property law. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations is a plus.
