Lead, schedule, oversee, and conduct all physical and chemical quality tests on the finished goods (Sponge Iron) utilising Spectrometers, FEM (Finite element method), Carbon
- Strohelein Apparatus, Metalizing/Metallization methods and other relevant equipment and procedures.

Ensure accurate an detailed reporting of all finished goods (FG) testing in dedicated internal systems and SAP, and as per departmental SOPs.

Prepare the daily FG quality test reports and submit the same to all stakeholders for appropriate decision making.

Strong knowledge and experience of driving quality lab activities, preferably in steel and/or metal refining industry.

Strong experience of various quality tests, standards, and associated activities.

Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of all lab equipment and machinery, as well as appropriate stocks of the chemicals consumed for quality tests.

Raise maintenance requests for lab equipment, and purchase requisitions for required chemicals to Purchase department, as and how required.

Qualification : B.sc / M.sc
