**Job Title: Assistant Accountant**
**Department: Accounts & Finance**
**Reports To: HR & Admin Manager**
**Job Summary**:
The Assistant Accountant will support the finance department in managing daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with month-end and year-end reporting. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work effectively under supervision.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in day-to-day accounting operations such as journal entries, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain records of all financial transactions, invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Support in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Handle petty cash and update expense registers.
- Reconcile supplier statements and assist in accounts payable and receivable management.
- Help with payroll data preparation and maintain employee reimbursement records.
- Support audits by providing required documents and explanations.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all financial data.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B. Com / M. Com).
- 0-3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good communication and organizational abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
**Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Saturday**
**Salary Range: Based on performance in the interview**
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
