**Reports To**: IT Supervisor / System Administrator

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable **Computer Operator** to monitor and manage computer systems and networks. This role is ideal for individuals with basic IT knowledge and limited hardware experience. The operator will focus primarily on software operations, system performance monitoring, and routine maintenance tasks, escalating complex hardware issues to the appropriate technical staff.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Run and manage daily scheduled tasks such as system backups, file transfers, and batch processing.
- Maintain system logs and records of operations and performance.
- Respond to alerts or system messages, and escalate issues to IT support when needed.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as rebooting systems, replacing printer paper/toner, and clearing jams.
- Ensure all systems and equipment are properly shut down at the end of operations.
- Follow standard operating procedures for handling common issues.
- Provide basic user support for software or login-related queries.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Basic understanding of computer operations and software environments (Windows/Linux).
- Ability to follow procedures and handle routine tasks consistently.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow guidance from IT technicians or senior staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional IT coursework is a plus.

**Preferred (but not required)**:

- Basic understanding of hardware components (CPU, RAM, storage devices).
- Exposure to IT ticketing systems or help desk environments.
- Prior experience in a similar operational or data entry role.

**Working Conditions**:

- Shift-based work may be required, including nights/weekends.
- Mostly desk-based with mínimal physical labor.
- May require coordination with remote IT teams.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
