Graphics Journalist

**Graphics Journalist**:
This position is based in India and will report to the Asia Graphics Editor. The developer will be expected to work swiftly with little supervision under tight deadlines, producing graphics commissioned by Reuters journalists and editors as well as generating original ideas for graphics.

**About the Role**:

- Work to tight deadlines and cover breaking news
- Understand the news file and conceive vision of how to represent information graphically
- Generate original ideas for graphics
- Manage and visualise complex data sets
- Produce static and interactive graphics using a host of tools

**About You**:

- Degree in journalism, and/or graphic design
- Proficiency with digital tools and processes
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm, curiosity and numeracy are essential
- Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
