**Job Title: Freelance Counselor**

**Location**: Remote

**Job Type**: Freelance/Contract

**About the Role**: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Freelance Counselor to join our team. As a Freelance Counselor, you will provide professional mental health support to clients via online platforms. This role is ideal for experienced counselors who are looking to expand their practice, work flexible hours, and support individuals seeking help with their mental health.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with clients via video calls, phone calls, or messaging platforms.
- Assess clients' mental health status and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic support and interventions for a variety of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, and more.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
- Offer crisis intervention as needed.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals and refer clients to specialists when necessary.
- Stay updated with the latest mental health research and therapeutic techniques.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Valid and current counseling license or certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of counseling experience (preferably in a remote or freelance setting).
- Proficient in using online communication tools and therapy platforms.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and ethical practices in counseling.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.

**Preferred Skills and Attributes**:

- Specialized training or certification in areas such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, trauma-informed care, etc.
- Experience with diverse populations and cultural sensitivity.
- Ability to handle multiple clients and manage a flexible schedule.
- Strong problem-solving skills and emotional resilience.
