Job Description: TIG Welder

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform TIG welding on various metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
- Prepare and inspect materials for welding, ensuring surfaces are clean and properly aligned.
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including calibration of power sources and selecting appropriate tools and consumables.
- Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on welding equipment.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in welding is preferred.
- Proven experience as a TIG welder, with a portfolio or examples of previous work.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of metal properties and welding techniques.
- Familiarity with tools such as grinders, cutters, and measuring instruments.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Knowledge of welding safety standards and protocols.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy materials for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

**Work Environment**:

- This role may involve exposure to high temperatures, noise, and welding fumes. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.
