**Job Summary**:
A **Sweet Line Quality Controller** is responsible for ensuring that confectionery products meet quality and safety standards throughout the production process. This role involves monitoring raw materials, in-process production, and final products to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
**Key Responsibilities:1. Quality Control & Assurance**:
- Inspect raw materials to ensure they meet quality standards before production.
- Monitor production processes to identify and correct deviations from specifications.
- Conduct visual, physical, and sensory inspections of sweet products.
- Ensure proper mixing, cooking, and packaging parameters are maintained.
**2. Compliance & Standards**:
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations such as HACCP, ISO, and GMP.
- Maintain proper hygiene and sanitation protocols on the production line.
- Ensure that all quality control documentation and reports are properly recorded.
**3. Testing & Analysis**:
- Perform routine sampling and lab testing for quality parameters like texture, taste, moisture, and shelf-life.
- Identify product defects and coordinate corrective actions with the production team.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
**4. Process Improvement & Troubleshooting**:
- Suggest improvements to enhance product quality and reduce wastage.
- Identify and address quality issues, working with production supervisors to prevent recurrence.
- Assist in root cause analysis for product non-conformance.
**5. Documentation & Reporting**:
- Maintain records of quality checks, test results, and corrective actions.
- Prepare quality reports for management and suggest necessary improvements.
- Ensure proper labeling and traceability of raw materials and finished goods.
**Required Skills & Competencies**:
- **Technical Knowledge**: Understanding of confectionery production processes and quality standards.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to identify product defects and deviations from standards.
- **Analytical Skills**: Capability to analyze test results and production trends.
- **Problem-Solving**: Quick decision-making skills to resolve quality-related issues.
- **Communication**: Ability to coordinate effectively with production teams and management.
- **Knowledge of Regulations**: Understanding of food safety laws and industry best practices.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- **Education**: Diploma/Degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, or related field.
- **Experience**: 1-3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in a confectionery or food manufacturing environment.
- **Certifications**: HACCP, ISO 22000, or GMP certification
**Work Environment**:
- Work is performed in a factory/production setting with exposure to food ingredients and equipment.
- Requires standing for long periods and monitoring the production line.
- May involve working in shifts, including weekends or holidays.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
