### Job Description: Area Sales Officer - FMCG Spices Products

Position: Area Sales Officer

Industry: FMCG - Spices or Masala Products

Experience Required: 6 months to 1 year

Location: Pune

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:
We are looking for an Area Sales Officer with 6 months to 1 year of experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG sector. You will be responsible for increasing sales, building customer relationships, and meeting sales targets in your assigned area.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Meet and exceed sales targets for our spices products in your area.

2. Find new business opportunities to grow our market share.

3. Understand customer needs and market trends through research.

4. Analyze competitors to develop effective sales strategies.

5. Build and maintain relationships with current and potential customers.

6. Provide excellent customer service and address any issues quickly.

7. Develop and execute sales plans to achieve targets.

8. Prepare regular sales reports and market analysis for management.

9. Keep accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.

10. Organize and participate in promotional events and product demonstrations.

11. Collaborate with the sales team and distributors to ensure smooth operations.

12. Give feedback to improve our products and services based on customer insights.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- 6 months to 1 year of sales experience, especially in the FMCG sector.
- Knowledge of spices products and the FMCG market.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good organizational and time management skills.
