Roles and responsibilities
- Calibration of powertrain (Motor, Inverter, Battery/ BMS, DC/DC)
- Calibration of charging function (OBC, Fast Charger, BMS)
- Calibration of vehicle functions (Peripherals, Cluster, Infotainment screen)
- Thermal calibration
- Non-driving function calibration
- Model-based desk calibration & test bed calibration
- Data analysis and calibration optimization for performance, energy efficiency, drivability,
- charging efficiency
- Homologation related calibration
- Diagnostics calibration
- Summer/ Winter/ Altitude calibration (Environmental)
- Calibration dataset release
- Skills and experience
- Experience in powertrain calibration for EV
- Fundamentals related to thermal system, HV system
- Sound knowledge of PMSM control, Inverter, On board charger, BMS, BCU
- EV powertrain technology
- Embedded software understanding
- Matlab/ Simulink
- Data acquisition/ logging ( CANalyzer, PCAN Explorer, INCA etc..)
- Data analysis and interpretation
- Calibration process
- Basic Knowledge of procedures and Regulations for homologation
- Good riding skills for 2 wheeler geared vehicle
