**Role Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct research on grant opportunities, funding programs, and industry trends in Canada and globally.
- Prepare well-structured grant proposals, concept notes, and DPRs in collaboration with technical and management teams.
- Collect and organize project-related data for inclusion in reports and submissions.
- Develop financial models, charts, and data presentations using Microsoft Excel.
- Design professional PowerPoint presentations for stakeholders, investors, and funding agencies.
- Draft, edit, and proofread documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with guidelines.
- Maintain a database of grants, proposals, and submission timelines.

**Qualifications & Skills**

**Education**:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Communications, Business, Development Studies, Agriculture, Public Policy, or related fields.

**Core Skills**:
Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Knowledge of DPR preparation and proposal writing.

Strong research and analytical abilities.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, data analysis, charts) and Microsoft PowerPoint (professional pitch decks, reports).

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

**Preferred**:
Prior exposure to grant writing, research projects, or technical documentation.

Interest in agri-tech, drones, sustainability, or development sectors.
