**Reports to**: Dr. Peter Ponniah Jesudass J, Medical Director

Dr. John Arthur Ortho Hospital, located in Avadi, Chennai, is committed to providing exceptional orthopaedic care and services. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated **X-ray Technician** to join our team and assist in providing accurate diagnostic imaging to our patients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform X-ray examinations on patients according to the physician’s instructions.
- Ensure high-quality and accurate imaging results while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Prepare patients for X-ray procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
- Operate X-ray machines and other diagnostic equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate records of patient exams, including images and relevant patient data.
- Adhere to hospital safety protocols and radiation safety guidelines.
- Maintain and clean radiology equipment as necessary.
- Assist in patient care and management as directed by medical staff.
- Follow up with patients and physicians regarding diagnostic results when needed.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Diploma n Radiology.
- Certification as an X-ray Technician.
- Proven experience as an X-ray Technician, preferably in an orthopedic setting.
- In-depth knowledge of radiology procedures and safety protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
