Solution Architect

Solution Architect responsible for providing solutions for digital consumer experience and eCommerce initiatives through emerging technology. Need to provide technical leadership for large scale development program, works on new architecture solutions and support for the ongoing ecommerce program

**Must Have Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field of study
- Overall 8+ years of software development/engineering experience including progressive IT experience in Application development, Technical solutioning, Support and architecture
- Recent 2-3 years role as Solution Architect
- Very strong knowledge with cloud infrastructure environment, J2EE technologies (Spring Boot, Spring framework) and /or front-end technologies (React/Angular/Next.js/Node)
- Strong knowledge of Rest API, API security, OAuth, SSO, microservices and Micro front end architecture and implementation
- Strong knowledge and experience in using API tools like Postman, swagger, etc.
- Expertise with Cloud Technologies (GCP preferred)
- Experience in Swagger for REST API documentation
- Experience with various aspects of software development
- Experience and knowledge of event streaming, and cache management
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to upskill and learn new technologies and processes
- Negotiation skills and ability to work with several and diverse set of stakeholders/customers
- Identifies the right technology element by probing into existing components or recommending new platform for a business landscape
- Leverage tech standards to solve problems with new and existing solutions while demonstrating passion for emerging technology capabilities
- Creates and owns the High level and low-level technical designs elements of the projects
- Interprets business user functional and non-functional requirements (e.g. performance, security) to develop system specifications in close cooperation with business analysts and business customers
- Strong knowledge on Visio, Miro and other Project Technical Artifact creation tools and diagrams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in multiple projects simultaneously

**Preferred Skills**:

- Knowledge/Experience and understanding of business process in Automotive or any other sector business processes. Experience in Automotive space - esp. Marketing & Sales business processes will be good to have
- Experience working with teams in an agile environment
- Experience in trouble shooting complex systems and performance testing and tuning
- Infrastructure architecture knowledge
- Knowledge or development CI/CD techniques and tooling
- Self-researcher, ability to research a technology and provide insight to project team.
- Knowledge of content management systems like AEM
- TOGAF or other architecture framework certified
- Leads architecture for new global eCommerce features.
- Responsible for understanding business requirements and defining technical architecture-based solutions that align to Ford Motor Company’s Patterns and Standards.
- Create conceptual architecture design proposals from business requirements
- Review and ensure actual solutions meet the conceptual design and aligns with strategic objective
- Support translating design proposal into proof of concept with hands on development work as required
- Guide/Support product teams around the micro service architecture and other IT-operational processes
- Participate on emerging tech trends analysis and provide emerging trends review
- Utilize Design Thinking while working with Product teams to define, assemble and integrate components based on Ford standards and business requirements (examples: hardware, software, availability, scalability and reliability)
- Develops and Communicates Architecture design for new feature
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously
